Yep, Tuesday one to watch, although still too far off.

Moderate/Heavy snow for NW on this.

Yes, I prefer to look at them in Netweather format, GFS overdoes snow on PPN type charts regardless but I find the Netweather graphics to be at least slightly more realistic and easier to use, still same result for our region though.

That's probably a bit overdone, these type of events do tend to downgrade nearer the time although with drifting in strong winds, the South Pennines also being a very rugged area, you cannot rule out some severe drifts. the met office not really buying into it.

ridiculous amount for Scotland, to be honest though not really unusual.

I would take 2 inches next Tuesday because I have this horrid feeling it will be another GFS PPN type overdone signal and I will end up with inches of PPN - Rain.

A few pesky showers but should be longer spells of sunshine now until the sun sets.  Vindig tomorrow!  Outdoor sporting fixtures for those exposed to the south westerly gales should be fun.

What a funny little world we are living in. If we get too much rain we get paralysed and if we get too much snow, the country come to a halt too.

I heard on radio this morning there are heavy showers today but they are wrong. Instead we get sunny spells and scattered showers here.
