Very wet moderate snow, no chance of sticking.

That heavier section of the band to the north looks like it's snow, must have either some cold air wrapped around it, or just be taking full advantage of evaporative cooling, lucky for some. Not for me, I missed it by ten miles or so.

Shame really as we would have had 2 inches by now had it stuck...still snowing...is it coming down from cumbria here?

The reason i get the rain first is because of the warm front. Warm fronts usually descends its warm sector to the sea level.

turned to sleet about 30 minutes ago now its rain, so 1 hour of wet snow, still, some people havent seen a flake.

Lashing with rain now, that's two thirds of winter gone with hardly a flake or frost. At least the fells are getting plastered.
