Its actually snowing here would you believe it only tiny flakes but definately snow

 

But the way GFS12z is a huge upgrade for saturday morning in snow terms

Just rain maybe sleet.

We couldn't even manage a completely dry day today.

How bad is it this winter?

Still not enough. This winter is brutal. I'm not surprise if this downgraded by the time it arrives. So futile.

Dew point rising now almost to 1c - no chance of any settling snow here tonight unless it drops again.

Light snow flurries here but not enough to stick and we appear to be right at the Nothern extent of the showers currently across the region.

Not expecting much tonight and even tomorrow's 0% chance will probably downgrade further so certainly not getting that excited at our prospects.

Last night was yet another one where temperatures stayed above freezing IMBY so one part of me wants the current 1c to not fall much further so I can have a full blown rant at not seeing a single air frost in January.

I know we are right next to the Irish sea but this patchy little feature has travelled from the South East & pushed NNW across the midlands, Derby & Stafford. It get's to Cheshire and it just rains I give up!

Turned sleety now....was heavier snow for ten minutes but rain mixed in now..... Oh well was great to begin with but at least had some falling... Three days up here with falling snow.....

Absoultely bugga all here but yoghurt! Lol...had a snowy sky all day and even now plenty, very cold but not even a raindrop lol
