Snow starting to settle here, I just hope we get lots of showers overnight then I can take my 3 year old out on the sledge tomorrow.

More activity on here in 20 minutes than in the last week - the power of snow!

Well what a lovely sight! Just had a heavy, blizzardy shower which lay instantly. Looking at the radar, there are a few lined up to come across us which look to be packing a fair punch. Didn't actually think that they would get as far over.  (remember to click on weather type)

Plenty of pink on the radar. Under the snaw shield here fingers crossed a 'blob' pays a visit this evening. Great to see all the pics and reports so far.

No snow to report but this cold dry  wind is really drying out the ground as can be seen by this photograph of ground ploughed in November.post-2744-0-70290700-1392138282_thumb.jp Drought still remains an issue in this area if the spring is dry. Currently breezy and 2.2c and falling.

Starting to look pretty wintry in East Kilbride - it was melting between showers at first but hopefully nightfall and a decent 'base' will keep it sticking around.
