Variable cloud overnight and a few light showers. The morning so far has been rather cloudy with the odd light shower around.

Showers cleared away last evening. Clear spells allowing a ground frost for a time. Cloud increased through the early hours making for a cloudy start. light rain commenced around 08:00 GMT, this turning moderate by ob observation. Rain moderate at times continued through the morning. By afternoon there were a few brighter spells, also moderate showers. The showers cleared away by evening.

A mainly dry but rather cloudy night. Snow showers early this morning gave a thin covering ( 0.5cm )which has reduced to less than 50% cover in the  last few minutes.

Currently it's dry, chilly and cloudy.

Essentially a dry and cloudy day with nothing more than a few very brief and light showers this morning and early afternoon and a few equally brief brighter intervals during mid to late afternoon.

Showers have arrived from the west since 1845.
