Moaning All

Mmm, cold rain.  Still, makes a different from the mild rain we have had the past few months and you never know, there might even be the odd snow flake thrown in to boot Posted Image

You know that something is wrong when places in Georgia, South/North Carolina are getting up to a foot of snow!.

post-10773-0-02221500-1390986419_thumb.jWhat's wrong about it is either we are in the wrong place or our snow is - boo !!Morning all - having a duvet day here (well another hour anyway) it might even be light by lunchtime if we are lucky !

Coast, I pleased you gave an update on your company, I was wondering as I knew you was near to be successful in your bid for a large contract, I wish you luck. With all the big orders I'm talking about above, we also get the maintenance for those as well and some you are talking of over a £100k per year, which is bread and butter to me.

Better get on subject. Raining.

Great to hear of expansion.

I have variable experiences with Banks - HSBC very risk averse and no use to me whatsoever. Barclays , much more accomodating and I got some good deals with them for my business and i was going well. This was before 2009 of course. But shop around would be  my advice...

Raining. Feeling colder than 2 hrs ago. Snow imminent Posted Image

Really hope no one gets floodedPosted Image

Hi Its a really interesting church at Ashwell I lived there for a few years. Well worth a visit and a climb up the tower. Lovely little village museum opposite the church. A good pub the Rose and Crown.

Another 0.2c gone....Now 2.7c. It's like pulling teeth. Constant light rain, no sign of sleet or wet snow yet, but the rain is "thick"

Looking pretty grim today and tomorrow. Unlikely to see the sun and cold rain looks to fall much of the time, it doesn't even look cold enough for snow now, max temp in London today and tomorrow 7C, unless you live above 150m and even there it may struggle to settle. Prefer the last few days of sunshine and showers, at least we saw the sun, than this grey damp squib of an easterly.

There was definite splodges of wet snow on the windscreen just now on the way home.It has been pouring with rain most of the night and all morning. The small river/stream down the back lane is over and has flooded the lane in a foot of muddy water.

This doesn't need any explanation, just exasperation:

Mum is now going to speak to the people behind my house who own the lake as the water has risen a good few inchs and is now creeping up the back garden..

Surrey, I've been reading your river level advice with interest, i'm sorry its near you now, take care,
