TWOweather just tweeted it's going to be a cold and wet July... how they know that I don't know!

They know that because they know I have plans to plant seeds and grow some salads later in the year.

Countryfile on now - in the Preseli Hills - wonderful to see them, maybe tomorrow instead of keeping going on the M25 I might just turn left at the M4, head West and go to North Pembrokeshire again. I suppose at the office they would eventually notice I wasn't there.AS

waiting  for the  country file  weather is  like waiting  for  a   baby!!

just had sleet Posted Image

Looking good then! How much more do you think the temperature will drop over night?

Looking at the radar that is heading my way, and it's now just above 5c here, seems a bit high for sleet Posted Image

Mr Spur, you really shouldn't be smoking in here (let alone drinking and sniffing glue) and by the way I've got news. You are now the proud parent of a damp squib!cue tears all roundAS

4.0C here in Hull, really miss home, not felt this way since I came here in September. The weather is constantly miserable here and it has a detrimental effect on your mood, maybe I should have realised the east coast is generally dyer during the Autumn/Winter.

I'm currently observing the more organised occluded front to the West of that trough over Ireland.

Hi PSI remember saying to my old Dad that I loved being in Brighton or by the sea in winter when it was bleak and stormy, grey, sea merging with grey skies. he looked at me knowingly and said 'there speaks someone who hasn't lived in a seaside town all year round'. It's the same when we go to West Wales, I like to imagine that if I lived there all year I would love the wildness, which I would, but I think after a while at certain times the assault of the rain would get me down. However, it's not been that great down here this winter so hang on in there and you'll hopefully soon be able to describe big easterly skies and brooding snow showers as we gird our loins for another westerly assaultAS

Really don't get why people are wasting time wanting to stay up, even IF it does snow, it's going to be no more than a brief dusting which will melt quickly. I'd rather conserve myself and sleep so I can go to work tomorrow rather than be exhausted in the morning.

Where did you go MK?
