Just had a nice blast of heavy snow. Better dusting on the roofs and cars but the ground is too wet for it to settle....

The showers seem to be dying out over Hants - not surprising as humidity is 75% here.

Mainly dry night had a brief snow shower which lasted 2 minutes around 4:30am.

Iknow it's not even February yet but looking at the models this morning we're once again staring down the barrel of the Atlantic train again for another week or so, at least.

Roll on an early warm Spring. Fed up of this rain now.

Woke up several times, but didn't see anything snowy, gave up at 5, I think last night was our best chance this week, looking pretty rubbish and wet after mid week for the foreseeable.

Dusting of snow over mendips but green below about 200m and slushy over the top so quite poor really. Thats our winter then and it wont even last until 9am for a proper snow day.
