Where are you Winter? It's been mild, wet (very wet in England) not that cold, although all this damp makes it feel chilly. Have we missed the snow boat for 2013/14 winter?

I'm not sure if you follow the Strat thread Jo, but there appear to be some tentative signs of a possible SSW in early Feb. That in itself is no guarantee of sustained cold for the UK of course, but it would nonetheless improve our odds significantly for the final month of winter.
