Oh great! Now watch the prices of tyres go through the flamin roof! Another mad expense to contend with along with everything else.

Heavy downpours on and off here (more so than what hit during afternoon) could see some heavy rain more prolonged tomorrow which would enhance the flood problems. Also watching the Sat risk looks as though the worst rain over central south into southwest at this stage-where this occurs well over an inch (25mm+)

That as well. People urged to stay indoors. Remember a tyre depot in S Lincolnshire about a decade ago going up in smoke and being able to smell it from 20+ miles away. That fire looks substantially bigger, so you can only imagine what its like for local residents.

See on the 72 HR FAX the front just of the east coast/north sea, this front being blocked and sitting there, got a screen grab of this from the other way of looking at the surface pressures and fronts, don't see this type of front that often:

The stratosphere should be warming up nicely with all these big fires so I'm sure it will snow soon *hides matches*

I don't want to push your excitement to the limits but in the past month it has rained for at least 2 hours during 47% of the days and was cloudy the majority of the day for another 24%. This means that it’s either rainy or cloudy 71% of the time. So after all the number crunching the end results would be something like this .....

Measured Entropy (bits) = 1.28570947991

Theoretical max: 2.58496250072

Probability(‘Cloudy’) = 0.23782234957

Probability(‘Rainy’) = 0.47564469914

...which basically means it's been cloudy and raining most of the time :-)

post-10773-0-54448500-1389908765_thumb.jAnd it's not just the price of tyres that's going up.... Fishermen on the Sussex coast have said the stormy weather has had a devastating impact on their work. Many fishermen in the county use vessels which are shorter than 10m (33ft).In Hastings, which is reported to have the largest beach-launched fishing fleet in Britain, some fishermen said they have been only able to make three trips in two months.Fish shops in the area have said prices have risen as a result.Mark Woodley, a fisherman from Hastings, said he would usually make 15 outings each month."We've had a major problem for the past couple of months - the weather's just been a no-go," he said."We've done three or four trips, the wind has been so strong that not a lot of people have risked the launch and get back on to the beach."It's so easy to do a lot of damage to the boat."It's been a tough old time for us and it's still going on."Sebastian Candelon, who is the director of The Fresh Fish Shop, with branches in Haywards Heath and West Grinstead said: "It is definitely the worst I've ever seen it being, since the seven years I've been in the trade."Prices reached their peak about two weeks ago, when lemon sole and monkfish doubled in price."http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-sussex-25756248

Hmm heck of a rain noise earlier on the conservatory roof and the cat's come in soaked but the weather station is reporting no rain?! I must have another family of spiders camping out in it :(
