The 12z skew-t for Valentia is showing uppers of about -3.9C, so the cold air is certainly sweeping in now. Things should be turning quite wintry now.

4.6C here, frequent moderate showers and very gusty winds.

Pea sized hail here atm. Had a few other hail/sleet showers in the last 2 hours

Definitely plenty of wintriness in that last shower! Folks where can i check the likes of dew points and stuff for my area? Thanks in advance.

Another intense pea sized hail shower, followed by light snow. Great stuff!

i think it might be be a one off. cannot see that happening. bar a miracle

It is very unlikely, and would be very much on the marginal side of things. But I'd say that's how many great snow events come about.

thats my concern. only yest it had whole of england and scotland in snow and us rain. today its role reversal! but as BFTV says this is how things start. If its still showing by next thurs. Game on!!

nw radar showing any showers only falling as sleet so will be interesting to see how wintry they are. not much shower activity at all though.
