a lovely orange-red sunrise as the sun shone through various upper cloud layers, white frost and the low so far at -1.9CC, 

the first one this year and only the 3rd one this winter.

And so the Stevensons Screen journey comes to an end this morning, as everything is now completed, and its standing proud on its perch in the garden. Like i have said before, anyone can buy a screen, but you get an enormous amount of satisfaction knowing that you (i) built that. Every morning now when i look out side and see it, i think to myself . .. i made that! For the grand total of about £60, I have managed to build this with very little effort. It looks the part, and so far does its job well. Here is the latest, and final installment of the DIY Stevensons Screen journey. Thanks for following, please feel free to comment.

After a pleasant start albeit cold it was a deteriorating day becoming dark and gloomy in the afternoon with light drizzle. A rather depressing end to the day.

Mostly clear overnight with the first air frost of the winter. It was cloudier by dawn with sunny spells in the morning before turning overcast during the afternoon. A cool day with a max of 5.2C but gradually turning milder now as the front approaches.

A cold start with freezing fog low of -3 deg The day becoming clearer but cold ,max 1 deg,this evening cloudier and now 2 deg with light rain.May have some snow on the tops in morning?

A dry morning with increasing high and medium level cloud after a bright and frosty start. The cloud continued to thicken and lower during the afternoon, eventually bringing thick hill fog and drizzle from about 1500.
