Here in Brighthelmstone the temperature has rapidly dropped in the last hour, currently 1.8 degrees, off to chop some wood for the burner before it gets any colder.

so is the MAD thread I think, We have over two months of winter to go yet, way too early to write it off IMHO.

My advice would be to stay out of that thread and listen to John. That thread is like a teenager, one day happy next moody and grumpy!

hi croydon

the morning runs in my eyes always seem overprogressive

from the west

the 12z runs seem to run closer to the fax chart

have noticed this a lot of times in the past

thats why i only follow the later runs now

All seems great to me. Heating cost way down. Roll on Spring and sowing seeds.

Couple of days of unexpected snow ok if it comes along. Model watching won't improve anything.

I just can't think about spring yet, in a way that I might in another month's time. Posted Image

We've gained only half an hour of daylight so far, since the shortest day. Somewhat strangely, by far the majority of it in the evening - we're only about 5 minutes up in the morning, as at today. The Sun is still very low at midday. Nice and pleasant (except when driving) yes, but it just doesn't yet have the feel of spring for me.
