At least he does not have to go outside to tell if his forecasts are rightPosted Imagestill  it won't drip when we are under a 3 foot blanket of snowPosted Image but it will mean turning the heating off so it does not meltPosted Image

fax chart for saturday

Posted Image

chilly north west wind

almost all under 528 dam air so will be cold

looks dry as well

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

sunday 120 fax

Posted Image

expect a lot of changes so will comment when it gets to 96

main note

dry again Posted Image

the bit which is interesting is high pressure should get pushed up over us and be forced to the north west

due to the lows north west and north east of us

this should let the low to our north west shoot towards our south east

this will be what i am looking for on these charts now Posted Image

i am trying to work out where that lot to our south west is heading

Looking at it on this version, I think it may be tomorrow nights low may be.

And hopefully the last (for now) of the true large amounts of rain we have been seeing recently.

An IMBY thing, I know, but I hope (and to a degree expect) that the main core of the rain will pass to our northwest.

Chucking it down here again and the sound is no longer therapeutic, but really tiresome. :(

The rain here is now easing and I hope is now substantially over for the night. That heavy band lasted just under an hour here. :)

Not good on the eye for rain then. :( At least we seem to have a relative respite for 6 days or so. Hopefully FI will downgrade the rain spike.

Yes I see it has cleared your area now, long way still yet for the far SE corner.

Southernman often sees them flying very low, two at a time, over Reedham, I have heard them near here but not seen them.
