with the 18z

with a slower transition the colder air has a better chance of sticking around longer

but any of the runs would do for now

still waiting the fax updates

will post them as soon as ready

It did freeze in 1911 and 1936 apparently but other than frozen mist and the Canadian side edge bits that have frozen I can't find any news items about Niagara freezing this week.

still, if we get a fraction of the cold weather they have then i'd be happy :D

was looking at BBC pictures earlier and thought it would be nice if they could publish a lot more. bet theres some stunning photos of the US weather right now :)

I'm back up to Hull on Saturday, hopefully I see feet of snow coming off the North Sea. Apparently Hull is one of the best places to see heavy snow showers!

next time of heavy rain. record the pans and mix it in with a song. you'd make a fortune.

I'll tell you one thing, I've seen a lot of worse places down South, Hull has always had a bad reputation but once I got there, the city centre is actually rather nice! Granted the rest of the city isn't fantastic but every city has its grotty areas.

yep. agree. having worked the whole of this country, and many places abroad, we never really seem to see the things that are good on our own doorstep. personally i hate where i live. but love the area for its diversity and difference in environment. from thames barrier to oxleas woods. from the urban sprawl of the arsenal site to the greenery of plumstead. suppose we dont appreciate things until we look hard at them :)

. I was caught on the walk home from the gym in just shorts and a hoodie. Oops.

I assume you mean by rain ... or was it the fashion police ? Wet and miserable out here but nice and warm snuggled up and ready for bed with my hot choccy in hand :-)

Tipping down here too , nothing unusual really ,in fact it's quite normal lol. Glad too see we might actually see some sun within the next few days ! Will be nice to go out & not get soaked like a drowned rat that's been through a hedge backwards ! Night all x
