"The mercury is expected to plunge to below freezing "(really in winter who would have thought it possible) "bringing harsh frosts and the risk of wintry showers to the entire country. "(Not just oop north then)Oh deary me *shakes head*

Hello folks

Just to say thanks for all the info and stuff you lot give out,Posted Image

it made my (extended) christmas stay a lot more understandable

and the lessons I have learned.Posted Image

The good news for you flood risk people is,

that it looks like with me buggering off back up north I have  brought the rain with me,

I'm not bothered about that as long as it falls east of the Pennines (God put them there for a reason)

Thank you to Piggie PalacePosted Image Posted Image for putting up with me and Tigger (the cat) for a week or so longer than expected,

glad it was a relatively uneventful trip up and down

and no flood warning, alerts or knackered sewage pumps when you got back homePosted Image

Take care eveyone,Posted ImagePosted Image

ps,I've been trying to do this post for a while, but I finally got my xmas pressie (from PP) home and working,  a Jelly fish tank thingy.........

...........  very relaxing Posted Image

Posted Image

Having seen it non frozen and gushing over, I'm amazed. Does look beautiful, but standing next to it and not hearing the roar must be odd.

Niagra Falls Frozen.

Posted Image

When did the buildings get built?

Never seen buildings near Niagra Falls.

Think this is a picture of the Missouri River which has frozen.

Plenty of buildings can be seen from the american side, not so many ,and none, if your get your shot right, from the Canadian side.
