A few bargains in January as well.  All you need, Ali, for the complete package, is a donkey....

It was such a good deal they are almost paying us to go and eat the food and drink the booze....it would have been rude not to go !!

I already have all I need, Mr P is the complete package Posted Image  (no comment about the donkey bit though lol)

As self appointed legal advisor to the rich, good looking, witty, alluring and successful owners of the SDC, from whom I would like more work and ongoing employment (please), I need to make it clear that neither Mr Tom nor Mr Chris need answer any of these questions.

However, if they were to answer they would no doubt say that there is a clue in the title of the competition and that hail, not on any sensible analysis being snow, is by its very nature excluded.  Otherwise, and I raise this only to dismiss it m'lud, one could imagine a situation where a rogue member could freeze water, perhaps but not exclusively in  the form of rain or even, dare I suggest it, from a tap, then place said frozen substance into a blender and operate blender on a setting so as to render the ice into small particles the size of hail, distribute those particles outside and then measure them, thus submitting a measurement out of all proportion to the rules, to decency and, most importantly and pompously of all, to the law.

That will be £800 please, plus expenses (ie electricity, lighting, food, Stones Ginger Wine)

And we may need to keep an eye on Tamara who appears to have being freezing last year's snow. You can fool yourself, you can fool your friends, but you can't fool the NW legal adviser.Posted Image

I have been reading this about the usa. Also they are saying that skin freezes in it in 15 minutes.

I am just wondering, is it correct or is it just media sensationalism? Because it occurs to me that nobody could do any work or get to work if that was true, and they do go to work even with 22 inches of snow.Would they be ok in it if covered say with a thick scarf?

I know that the cold does kill but this seems a bit sudden and extreme.

Also would it be something which could occur here - thinking of the cold, not the snow- it seems to be some sort of record for them.
