Brother just called.. Sunbury Station hit by lightning... Car alarms went off inspecting the track at the station

Wandsworth SW18...the sky is apocalypse-grey and it has started to rain. Am expecting a proper downpour...v thundery too.

Reporting live from the beach at Saltdean in East Sussex, crazy conditions down here!People getting way to close to the wall edge, waves coming right over.Major rain and wind, hard to stand here and write this.Going to try get some pictures and a video now

Incredibly dark at the office in Harefield. Thunder rumbling about, heavy rain. Was plenty of flooding in evidence around the Leatherhead section of the M25 where it passes near to the River Mole. No doubt will be worse again by Sunday evening.

So glad I came back to work today......

Wind and rain returned after a dry spell earlier.

Heavy rain and windy here now. The worst seems to have passed to the west and north of us here. No hail or thunder and lightning.

Amazing pictures of the hail, I would hate to be out in that!

Gone very dark here at work - Torrential rain, blowing horizontal as are the trees in the strong wind.... Now, are we going to get some T&L - Heres praying...

Bit of a squall here but no hail or thunder. Wind has picked up a lot though.

Brief hail storm here in Epping, now gone dark and squally, glad I took an early lunch, the 1.00PM crew are getting soaked

You don't want it lol, the wind is suddenly blowing like crazy, not sure when the rain/hail will start, but shouldn't be to long.

Have to say that was crazy so strong were the winds I struggled yo stand up in it. Horizontal hail wind no idea now cold
