This is fun :) we are doing a V shape journey and it has improved since the turn half way across the water. Pretty rough though- have to hold on to stand up up on deck.

Yeah, the roar of the sea, can be heard, even from long distance

There is a digger and bulldozer down on the pebble ridge now, trying to do some repair work before

this evenings next big tide

I hope to dodge the showers, and get out with my video cam soon

Gust of 106mph reported at Needles, IOW.

The next high tide due later on today could be interesting to watch. Some great surfcams can be found here:

Edit: Seems that the page is struggling to load, probably due to high demand. Hopefully they'll fix it by the next high tide!

Quietest storm of them all here. Then it wasn't forecast to be windy. However anybody half listening to the news this morning would be expecting Armageddon everywhere rather than the west parts of the south coast.

I've noticed a warning for Snow out for parts of Yorkshire tomorrow.

Is that an MCS over Belgium and Netherlands right now... in January!

What astonishing factors must be in play today!

Just a band of showers/rain associated with this trough:

I banned the chimp last year....

Driving while filming and then putting it on the internet isn't the most sensible of things to do though.

XCweather showing that it may get windier here overnight.
