That's not good... it's blue bin night here. Wonder if they'll need emptied in the morning?

the storm must be going through intensification as its stopped on satellite and stationary and my closest weather station has the pressure steady for the last hour

for some reason the 3 o'clock chart changed to 932mb the 4 o'clock chart is 931mb and the red circle is where our strongest winds are forecast to come from when it comes in as it gets absorbed fully

GFS 0z still has another stormy damaging period on the 27th

the GFS also continues to put pressure on the vortex I think this is the first run this winter we have seen the vortex lose some power in the 30hpa charts left is 0z and right is 18z

Does it look like the precipitation chance for the central belt has diminished for today? BBC weather had all the snow/rain to the north it looked like.

no sustained rain but there should be bands of showers working through during the day

TBH, the winds are nothing of note here. Has it to get any worse or I slept through it?! Looks like the gradient is not as bad as progged, even if it's at 932mb.Posted Image

think its just gonna be a case of wait and see how the gradient tightens as that other little feature mixes in with the main storm
