Sudden uptick of activity in the City. Can now hear and to a degree (breeze in the office) feel the force of the winds now. That has changed in last 30mins or so.

Oh...ey up. It's starting to be really gusty out there now. The house is creaking (the ceilings) I bet the loft door will come down again soon as it's not secure. (Thanks to nieces grotty estranged husband) Best try and make sure cats and nipper not under it. Whoops!!!!!! :O

Well i survived tescos ! All be it I did nearly blow away with the car door! Im in for christmas now however the hubby has just phoned to say his boss wants them to stay late tonight! So they dont have to go in tomorrow! He works in gillingham and wont be coming back till about 8

I am amazed they havent made an announcement one way or the other about tonights football match. Even considering this forums ability to ramp (come on now we know it happens ) ) there does seem to be real cause for concern this time round. 60k people, many from the home counties, trying to get home after 10pm can not be a good thing.

Hello everyone, stuck in a loud factory with no windows so can't comment on the weather outside here in Burgess Hill.

 I'm finishing at 4pm and have to pick my 2 year old boy up from nursery round the corner before heading home to Peacehaven on the coast, I'm likely to be OK still if I'm off the roads by 5:30pm I hope?
