Hi all

Excellent site and enjoying reading through this thread, hope everyone is safe as it's obviously quite wild out there.

I'm on the Cambridgeshire border and rain / wind picked up around 2pm then abated at 5ish just long enough for me to get a quick run sorted, it now sounds wild out there - torrential rain and strong winds, barometric pressure is reportedly 971.8mb and falling.

Anyway quick question, I have to drive to South Yorkshire at 9am tomorrow I presume this weather system will be long gone by then?

Very windy in hertfordshire now compared to earlier certainly stepped up a few notches i noticed gusts predicting for Monday at 60-70mph on xcweather anyone know more?

It's bad here, but not as bad as that last storm that hit us at 3am.

Really is quiet out there, was expecting howling winds, even this far inland!

Pressure here is lower than expected, was meant to peak at 977mb at around 1-2am, it's currently 972.3mb

It's certainly well on it's way up North, just had an immense rain shower, wind picking up more too.
