like ya thinkingJust been watching Channel 4 weather/news they said that its that cold in parts of America if you spend more than five mins outside it will freeze your eyeballs...WOW thats what i call a Winter.

That's nowt.Spend 5 minutes outside over here and you get webbed feet.Seriously though, both sides of the Atlantic are getting extreme weather and after watching the coastal flood damage on the news I really feel for those effected but no one puts on a severe weather event quite like the USA and although I like snow and cold as much as anyone on this forum, I'm glad we don't get it to that extent.

There's even less to talk about on in the model thread than there is on here.Even the most optimistic must be thinking how long is this damn tunnels we're trying to see light at the end of.

It appears to be raining here, quite a shock when the dog came in soggy from his garden call !!!...

Yeah just heard the rain on the windows here.Must have been dry for at least 10 minutes this time though so drought conditions are slowly returning.Who's knows, maybe a full dry day will occur sometime in the not to distant future.

Just got in after working all day not bothered looking at the models, but did wonder into the MOD,wish I hadn't bothered

seems to be a debate going on about cold rain..really lol

anyway from what I can make out it could get colder with snow,it could stay mild with rain, the ENS are stonking, the ENS

are rubbish.....good grief anything could happen is this a fair assumption or have I missed something?

Wee need that troughing to dig as far south as possible, massive cold pooling to tap into, im a little sceptical of evolution although this run COULD end up a mid 80s special.

Thing is though this is the pub run(nearly swore then)

Anyway GFS has the USA in +8 Uppers in 7 days time that will be a shock if it verifys nearer home at T174 the -12 uppers

 are getting into Scandi

Nope - just a half baked effort in the end.

Scrap what I said, no good - we needed that troughing to dig further south earlier, mind you I don't by the evolution, too many mesoscale features popping up to have any confidence.
