I bet the hills to the east will have a good covering. It was sleeting/wet snow here so it must be snowing proper at higher ground. Its a white Christmas for them at least.

Just started snowing up on my mountain.Quite heavy and big flakes but not sticking as yet.

Great to hear that, I am at work in Bury still and I can see that the hills around the windmills are a bit white, we only got hail here!

another wintry shower is coming in now.

 

Forecast today is blustery wintry showers, snow briefly at lower levels and more so at higher levels.

Don't get to excited, it didn't stick and only lasted 15 minutes anyway.
