Hopefully not....I'm soooo cold!! Can't see the interest in cold weather, hate it!!!

Not even when snow brightens up the so often dull dreary days which the TM airstreams bring. Posted Image  To be fair, the weather is playing the same card over and over again for now so today's brighter skies (lovely to see) will be replaced by several more days on and off of rain and wind. Whatever we seek, we can't change it.

Amazing overnight frost! If only we could keep on to this type of cold temps at night and calm sunny days! still, a change is just around the corner....

We had a very light dusting of snow this morning which was nice to see.... Just need something more substantial now!

Same here, Dorsetbred, although I can just see the beginnings of the cloud cover which will probably foul up a decent sunset.

Next best thing to snow in winter - hard frost and sunshine all day. Low of -2.8C last night, everything white this morning and crystal skies all day - high cloud just edging in from the west now.

Evening all ,Mullender 83 as a 500 w spot light ,good idea i had one last year but now  250 one they are good for catching those magical snow flakes as our street lighting goes off at midnight .drove across the mendip highway today lovely frost in shady places we had a good white one here on west mendip .well winds picking up outside but looks like the rain will creep in later my best estimate probably 9pm ish .as for our further outlook ,windy wet for a while but hopefully some colder air eventually being brought further south to our shores .plenty of winter left ,cheers all and a wonderfull new year to all my fellow posters .Posted Image

It supposed to rain heavy later on the south coast but the radar doesnt look like there is much on the way, is there some sort of front coming through overnight ?

Whilst you lot might not realise it, overnight it is going to pretty darn windy and wet at times and its knocking on the door out towards the far Southwest right now. Part two tomorrow night and then some more into the New Year. Posted Image

What a night/morning. Sound like the roof is going to come off and there is no let up. Glad I'm not going to work today. I imagine there will be some trees down after this

Winds easing with less powerful gusts but now we have even heavier rain than before. There will be lots of flooding later for sure. Might have a swing by the sea front shortly
