Well the temperature is dropping now so you never know! I am relying on the missus for updates as I am in Plymouth for the night....

 

In Plymouth?!?!?! Good luck fella rather you than me! Looking at the radar you have some wet snow at the moment up there.....still rain here. I live in hope but not holding my breath!

"W COUNTRY The next storm Thurs later eve into Fri AM not expected as severe as last one, but widespread 50mph gusts; 60-70 in exposure. Rainfall overnight Thurs-Fri will give widely 10-20mm with 30mm in some areas; again mostly further to S/SE of region."

Im off snowboarding on the 11th of jan, every time I go it always snows here.it has done for the last 5 years. So my punt for widespread snow is between the 11th to 18th of jan.and the last bit will melt the day I get back.

Just finished doing the Veg for Xmas Lunch and stood doing the Washing up and it's Lightning !! The Cars are covered in Frost and Ice,Stars are out and the Moon (cloud in the distance,South ) Thats a first,for me, Lightning on Christmas Day !!!!!!! Posted Image

No, didn't think so!

 

Still, it's very pretty and only the 4th frosty morning of the month!Lots of anvils from CBs to the South and also high cloud left from decayed showers so hazy sun and moon, calm, 1.8c .

sleet  (sliËt)   — n 1. partly melted falling snow or hail

Thats close enough for me, to nail it a white one
