It is the netweather radar... Just rain and rain and a developing squall line.. Roads are going to be hideous. Not to mention a few more trees down from the saturated ground...:(

It's really getting wild out there now, quite scary sounding and relentless too - worse than earlier

Area around me lost power for an hour, fair play to Western Power getting it back so quickly, was worried it was going to take a lot longer.  It is absolutely brutal out there at the moment.

Blimey - that's amazing! They forecast 60mm - you've had double!

Some people are gunna get/are getting real wet in Devon/Cornwall with that squall tracking virtually parallel to it's orientation again. I have a feeling it will go west of here, to where the previous squall happened, and split and miss me again haha.

Wind really got up again here too, not far off earlier today.

31.3mm of rain so far today, but it didn't really start here until 10.30. Greatest wind speed today 48.8mph at 15.23, but it is picking up again. Barometer has been falling steadily all day but is now falling rapidly and is at 981mb.

Well just a bit further down the hill we have 112mm and a leaking porch. Truly incredible stats. Have never seen anything like it.

EDIT: current rain rate 2.04 in/hr or 50 mm/hr.

Tonight has trumped todays weather......
