Incessant heavy rain here - fear for the flood prone areas.

Just looked at the 5 day Meto forecast for our area too. There is a whole load more of the wet stuff at various times through the next 5 days too.

Wettest day of the year here. Posted Image

In all seriouness though, the next week or so does not look very pleasant for most of our area. Noticed that the MetO Warnings hilight the possibility of coastal flooding on Friday too.

18mm to 09.00 and 23mm from 09.00 to 16.00.  It would appear that the worst has gone, but there are still blustery showers around.

After a very wet day, little sign of any let up. Rain more showery now

Bright echoes now showing up in south-west approaches.

Some white on the radar down near the Channel Islands, and a lightning strike picked up - North-West France

Violent rain shower at 1630, accompanied by lightning but no thunder.

There must be thunder...so in other words you mean you can't hear it.

Dubai Floods: Another Warning Sign for Desert Regions?
