Looks like it defiantly is shivering sands,i guess that will get punted down the thames as the tides increase?

....Beaten!

Middle of the estuary it seems.

evening all

I did not expect Southend to get included in the flood warnings, this could make it interesting for C2C trains in the morning, especially the run between Leigh and Benfleet....

I hope the folks on Canvey and Foulness Islands will be OK, worrying times

Stay safe

Gonna be fun for me getting to college tomorrow morning.

Traveling from Benfleet to Southend Central!

I've been reading some people saying tide levels are falling before the high tide has arrived. This may be like a Tsunami effect but instead the 'Low' is the approaching wave holding back the tide. If this is the case then it's gonna come in harder than expected, and maybe a little later.

This could result in a disaster as people drop their guard!!

basically means that the tide at high tide will be 1.98 metres higher then predicted that added to the big tides we have at the moment means theres a real chance of water topping sea defences

Yes I believe and heard that the biggest problems down our way would be tomorrow, during the two high tides.

Blimey. According to Kent news evacuation has been advised in lower areas of Strood and Rochester. Never thought they would be at risk they still seem pretty high above water to me :O
