There are several members in the model thread I have on ignore literally, Summer Sun,Shedhead to name just two that IMO have Agenda's. Ian B however is not on ignore, even though he backs the Gfs and its Zonality more often than not I do find he offers a good counter argument to the likes of Steve M.

The ECM 12z run is superb for the North West next weekend, bank bank bank.

Gibby, I tend to ignore, but his ECM summary is surely misleading mentioning snow on just hills in the north

but there again, Gibby used the S word! so it looks mighty cold

Yup, I also tend to ignore and just skip past as his forecasts are far too biased without coming across so much as to hide it, but his latest forecast was extremely misleading, and basically it says what he wants to hear.

So when we actually uses the S word, it must be coming !!

A bit more of a seasonal feel this morning with clear skies and -1c.

Certainly a usable day coming up.

5.4 °C here now after a surprisingly low minimum of 2.0 °C last night.

Pressure is slowly rising again after yesterday, now at 1029.0 mB.

Are they misunderstood using three months instead of three days? It will last 3 days, never mind 3 months!!

I probably expect more like yesterday's weather just a dry squid if the models carry on downgrading. Posted Image

Britain will have to wrap up warm from next week as Arctic winds are expected to bring a cold front for the next month at least.

Please! Who ever wrote that, you're just embarrassing yourself. At least research the terminology you're going to employ  before writing an article. A cold front; google it!!!

Stunning sun set right now ....

Was just going to post the same myself.Been stuck inside the house doing a few jobs today and constantly thinking that I've missed out on a decent walking day. That sunset just about confirms it.

Saw the clouds rolling in this afternoon. Didn't think the sunset would be as good as it was and even the beeb picked up on it during the Rugby final aswell a few mins ago. Lovely reds and hints of purple in there.

Why have you said that the SE isn't going to get -20 and a blizzard big enough to tell the grand kids about.I've noticed that It usually has that effect with some on there.

Took some pics on phone of sunset ,got home and realised there was a blob of paint on lens fron todays decorating ,gutted !!..

You could call it Comet Ison.
