Afternoon all, pretty decent if chilly day.

Well after what seemed like an eternity, I have been offered a job at a drug discovery company just south of Cambridge, got until next Tuesday to accept but as of now I guess I am no longer unemployed.

Evening all! And congratulations! to the Captain!

 

I still haven't been in the MOD thread. I'm so very proud of myself.  As long as I don't go in there I will be able to keep up my resolve.  But I know as soon as one toe enters that'll be it...I'll be trapped.

 

Been to the Orthopaedic hospital in London with my daughter and not great news, so I'm grateful for this thread cheering me up.

 

Tonight is cold again. God help hubby if he nicks the duvet again! 

Hi Chilly, there are good people on here. When one of your children is struggling it's really hard.  From my experience, take support from wherever it comes and don't worry about anything other than what matters, and you'll know what that is.

i don't like to say it but I wonder sometimes if it would be easier to moderate the posts at busy times in there before they appear as people seem them and react before they are deleted, I suppose the trouble is having poor moderators with enough time to sit there and do the job.

Possible frost and fog in your area due to lack of cloud cover.

I know that the Model thread can be a bit of a free-for-all, but please don't be scared of reading it! There are some really valuable contributors on there, and the more familiar you become with the thread, you'll soon work out which posts are worth paying attention to, and ones which aren't. I think the term 'Bigger Picture' is a good one to describe how you should think about it

 

Anyway, I'm off out of the cupboard to pick OH from work and then I can have a couple of Wines! Back soon!

Best stick with the Chinese model I think Chartviewer, at least Greenland exists on it

Just read Ali's post about the meetup next weekend - wish I could come but as always this time of year is all about putting aside the pennies to make sure my little ones have an amazing Christmas! One day I will be there to meet those of you who go in person  Maybe if there's a summer meet on the south coast next year?

Even if we see high pressure after the cold uppers go. Can see a cold spell anyway but with settled weather,crisp days with cold nights and fog/frost first thing! All fun...
