Very dark here.  No T&L and still dry.  But I have a sneaky feeling the heavens are about to open.....Posted Image

Was just about to say 'Are you sure about thunder and lightning in Central London??' and off it went!!!

I look westwards, reckon that was NW london somewhere...

Edit - Currently at work, St Pancras area..

Interesting, the worst of the last cell hovering around Gatwick threatened armogeden, but in the end delivered very little.

Large thunderstorm in the valley and moving east from Mayfield area in Sussex towards Wadhurst. Couple of big rumbles of thunder but no rain yet. Very dark and well defined cloud base.

Thunder here too, got soaked on the way home, where did this come from? It's been sunny all day up to this.

We had a large clap of thunder that startled me a bit, we have had 3 claps of thunder overall. Not bad!! I didn't even know it was coming.

Greetings and salutations to one and all,

Defo a day of two halves here, this morning, bright sunny and calm, then this afternoon, turned wet and quite dark, not aware of any T&L so going by the posts most is all further south, 8.1oC at present but strangely does not feel as cold (that said my dodgy joints and old war wounds *are* telling me it is cool and damp).

Bit of a result, stopped off on the way home to pick up a 4 pack and they had run out of the one I normally buy, chap said I was a good customer and would do the 1pint version for pound a can (so I brought two packs *natch*)

Now overhead and a touch of hail initially, heavy rain presently.

Tipping it down, miserable afternoon, have nearly been in tears wrestling with vaccuum cleaner, having moved all furniture ready for the cleaning, after about half an hour of showing me who was boss, it decided to behave again.

RAIN RAIN AND MORE RAIN.. OH and guess what is happening tomorrow? MORE RAIN Posted Image

One of the reasons I plan to stop in most of this weekend (should help me save some money) and continue with some more artwork, but will take a wander to the next village at some point (between showers) and visit my folks.
