Rain stopped around mid afternoon here. Since then, it's just felt horrible.... A mild, damp and windy end to the day. I can also hear bleeding fireworks still going off. 💣

Not snow, but a stunning frost on 12 December last year as seen in Kensal Green Cemetery.

As where waiting for winter 2013/14, Here are some past memories From 2012/13.

...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BQbme9DEW-M       best one of all 2010

How I wish that was our London, but afraid that's London, Ontario :)

Just found my old O2 Joggler (a digital photo frame that does a lot more than just photos) and found it still works, loaded the weather app (Accuweather) and I see it's forecasting that magical 4 letter s word (1.2CM) for me for November 18th. Metcheck is saying 14'C though....

Thats some squall line and intensifying..

It certainly was, but now seems to be breaking up and weakening the closer it gets to the London area now though Surrey

That video has just got me looking at YouTube and looking at some of the videos of London snow in 2010 and knowing the chaos that caused gawd only knows what would happen if we ever got snow like that. Netwaether servers would melt for a start!

Ah well we can dream.

Here comes the rain again, just started and the temperature has risen to 15.3c. I'm pleased to see that I am not the only person who trawls the internet looking for weather videos......Posted Image

I remember that John I had just moved from London to Portsmouth and we hardly got any snow over there. Was gutted to say the least. The more mature members may remember a big snow storm we had mid to late 70's in London, was living in Sutton at the time I can remember being able to jump right into the drifts but I was only young at the time.

I think I will remain on here until there is a real cold plunge showing within 10 days, no point spoiling the coldies fun on the model output thread by saying it's too far away to be sure or it's probably not going to happen.

At least the zonal train looks a little less rampant going forward Posted Image

nearly

It's really difficult for us down here in a northerly, as rain is normally situated on the north side of a low, we have to rely on showers getting pushed down from east angler. Well may be Kent can get a streamer if other conditions are right.

It can do what it likes, as long as the winds are not to strong and it doesn't flood anyone.
