Snow laying on hills above 300m here and it has snowed/sleeted lightly this morning temperature has decreased since this morning currently a nippy 1.9 degrees and heres to hoping at least a proper snow shower, we probably won't see lying snow unless we have some beefy showers over night but it could be a mild squib so we can't complain :)

Is it me or does it say it has hit 109mph at Aberdaron in the last hour on the met office site, surely not. It says 90mph for Capel Curig which you would believe

I'd believe it, it is very open to the elements out there.

I'm in nw Wales and I have never seen wind like this!! Crap loads of trees down!!

I bet - Sennybridge and Mumbles now around 70mph top wind speeds - sounds awful out there!

Sitting here in Valley (Anglesey) and it sounds like the roof tiles are about to come off!

Dog not impressed, bless her.

Sounds like someone is moving furniture in the loft!

Rest of family still in bed, how the hell can anyone sleep in this. It is very noisy at the front of the house, not as bad at back where they are sleeping.

Flippin' eck! Sounds like the roof is coming to come down, why are there no more lights on in the road, surely I am not the only one who can't sleep.

Lights just flickered, best I make another cuppa before we get a power cut. Still can't believe how noisy it is at one side of the bungalow compared to the other.

Glad I don't have to venture out today.

Stay safe folks.

I'm in Neath and relatively sheltered and this is the worst winds we have experienced for a very very very long time. It's constant. There is no break. Absolutely howling. Just glad we still got power. Real mental. Staying in all day for me!!! Mrs going shopping......
