No idea, Weather display calculates it but since we're below 1C I guess it thinks snow can fall lower than here. The yard cam isn't normally uploaded it's just a security thing.I have a live one looking at darkness presently might be worth a look tomorrow unless it's all melted.

Another storm rolling in..!! Fantastic bright 'electric' blue lightning with deep loud thunder and the occasional 'shotgun'!

Alas that looks like it for now. Still prefer thunderstorms during the summer months, bloody freezing standing at the back door watching the lightning..!!

Hi you lot. Glad to see some of you are enjoying some thunder tonight, we get that here also from the Irish sea under the right conditions, can be very spectacular.

Just rain here. I'd be surprised if anyone not at high levels has seen anything but rain so far, though temp is falling a bit now.

Belting down here at the moment with the odd lump of sleet thrown in and windy with it.

Could be some minor flooding around the region if this keeps up.

Rain band slightly further East than forecast, not really reached higher Pennines. Temps steady at 2.6C has been for several hrs. Saw more snow yesterday evening and this morning than from this Yellow warning.

Can I ask if you make a separate thread and post these videos in instead of cluttering all the different regional threads please?

Hopefully it will remain cloudy overnight the last thing we want now is the sky to clear and all this rain freeze over and turn to ice

So bad for you guys. Seeing you getting rain i had accepted a wet, rainy evening however there are now widespread reports of snow to relatively low levels in West and South Yorkshire.

I suspect you guys were screwed by the sea.

After just over 5 hours of non stop rain it looks like its starting to come to an end with a few gaps starting to appear now

21.3mm so far today with the bulk of it since 16:20

A very windy evening with strong gusty blasts, but dry. Hoping for clearer conditions towards the end of the week and decent walking conditions after early frost.

Can't see the northern fells from it, but there is a light cover on the central and eastern fells down to about 650m - pity there isn't a decent cover.

To be honest this current 'cold' spell is very average for mid-late November, nothing special at all.

Low wind speed at the moment aiding evap cooling. Temp will increase as wind picks up from N.

Missed all the thunder and lightning fun stuck in work, didn't hear a thing! Posted Image

Driving home about half an hour ago was a torrential shower with some hail mixed in, wind really gusting badly in it. There was flashing orange lights on a truck at the yorkie roundabout think they might have been pumping water out? Always floods there anytime we get torrential precip now
