LOL I was honestly tyring to be helpful as I had a nightmare with my Barometer readings at 1st.

Moderate rain here now. We had some rain here early this morning (2.4mm) but since the new batch has started, the total is now 5.4mm, bar falling slowly, currently at 998.1hPa :)

interesting, between 17:00 and 18:00, the system seems to move North, not North East, North.

Wind increasingly starting to pick up in last half hr, heavy squally showers on and off all day here in cheltenham.

Pressure doesn't seem to be dropping all that much it seems going by the surface analyses charts..

It's been breezy all day in Weymouth, but as the rain arrived, so wind speed dropped. Light rain around 1800hrs. has now intensified, but windspeed has dropped right off..............for now.

Raining south IOW now, winds not too strong at the moment, fingers crossed storm has passed by 10 am got to catch a ferry at 1130 what do you think my chances are? Evens!

As does my piece of plastic film in the shape of a fish which wiggles when you put it on the palm of your hand.

I've received 10.7mm of rain today so far, now at a rate of 7.8mm p/hr.

 

Pressure at 998 and dropping.

temp 12.2C

 

Upton, Poole

 

Rain has really started pouring down now, that hourly rate will fly up in a minute. I can see me getting 25mm at least this evening.
