That was a rough windy night, noisy on roof, still very gusty now.

We have the next storm developing this is for this evening and overnight (title extension perhaps!) the strongest of the storm low affecting South UK coastal zones gusts 70 mph (possibly a bit more) inland gusts up to 50 or even 60 mph, I would expect exposed hills to the south being hit hard with wind gusts near the southcoast proberly inland too, just have to keep watch of this track.. And alot of thundery rain with this system.

Well that wasn't so bad. Some signs and fences strewn across the road and quite a few umbrellas in bins, but nothing major.

Still a pretty unpleasant night to be out and about though, with squally cold rain and bombardments of hail.

Battening down the hatches here in Jersey right now. Rain has just started to fall and the wind is steadily increasing. High tide for us is at a little after 6pm so we are expecting some spillage along our south facing coasts although our highest tides are not expected until Tuesday. Stay safe peeps 😊

The system developing into SW now and this has a large area of heavy rain in it, winds develop to potentially severe gale coastal with inland gales possible. I'm off hope to be back late eve

The road is now a beach

looks like quite a bit of damage, l actually have friends in Aberystwyth, l actually lived just outside town before moving back in 2006, visited a few times tho so seeing the damage and whats left of the road is kinda surprising.
