Same here as well, a low of 1.9c just before half past six this morning.

Gorgeous wall-to-wall sunshine so far today.

Down to 0.4C in Shawbury this morning too, first frosts of the season for some, even at this pretty late stage.

Wow, looks like the West of the region had a chilly night. I recorded a balmy +3c in Rugby

Tomorrow looks rather gusty, could well be some gale force gusts, miserable damp day today though the heavy stuff is staying further north thus far.

............and I've booked the TV Aerial man to pay me a visit tomorrow afternoon! Posted Image

I guess if it gets too windy he'll just have to cancel & come back another day.

Looks like heaviest stuff is yet to push through though, hardly a barnstormer today lol.

Worst of it should stay north from the looks of things, here's hoping we at least one exciting weather event this month, August-October has definitely been one of the most none descript periods of weather I can remember.

Very dark & overcast here for much of the day, but not much in terms of rain so far..........everything seems further north and west than was initially forecast.

Steady rain since lunchtime here. Unpleasant taking the dog out — no rabbits, foxes or squirrels out and about, so not very thrilling for her either (she chases, but is too scared to catch them)

Hopefully the Peak District will see some severe gales later...

Winds will strengthen significantly through the day, reaching gale-force from mid-afternoon.  http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/public/weather/mountain-forecasts/peak-district#?tab=mountainWarnings

gales suck! cannot see any excitement at all, at just trees blowing, leaves and litter blowing around, bring on the winter cold, and if not let's have it settled

My... You have certainly made "Severe Gales" sound depressing there Posted Image

No litter round here anyway thank god.

Let's get Autumn out the way first, one step at a time !

hopefully GFS 00Z FI is correct, high pressure in charge, have noticed it on other runs as well. but just seems so unlikely to have high pressure mid Nov

Had a very brief squall just before lunchtime, sunny spells at the moment but very gusty winds all afternoon thus far, several over 40 mph, the leaves are flying off the trees now.
