Really windy outside now, fences snapping down all over the place from what I can see out the back window.

One bloke was outside in his garden, looked like he was trying to stop the fence smash his house wall up where it was banging into it constantly.

 

I'm I in the peak of it now and it will pass by soon? got to go to work soon lol

Jesus! Those winds are incredible, having slept through the 87 event I'm not sure I've seen trees struggling to stay upright.

Amazing to see clouds glowing orange with lightning strikes here in Westergate, West Sussex.

Morning Looby Whitstable had gust's of 55mph and steady wind of 30mph,Just about to drive home..should be fun,  seems wind is increasing around Kent...

LBC Radio have just said that its going to start peaking now through to 8am. Jeeze I hope not ! I love it but it's terrifying ! Almost on a par with 87.

Anyone know where the low pressure centre is now?

 

I think us in the east will get a sting from this as it exits.

BBC radio Berkshire reporting the worst of the wind will hit our county around 8 am which is worrying as it's ferocious out there now. Just want it to be over.
