Easy jet plane circling above me I assume waiting to land at southend. Never seen one circle so low this way. Normally Gatwick planes which are much higher.

Has anyone any thoughts on driving to work in Croydon area - not sure whether we have had the worst?

Coast has the worst passed us now??

 

It seems like it might be calming, although a couple of current forecast sites are saying we have it down here until mid- morning?

It's much calmer now, was very bad an hour ago. Heathrow had a 69mph gust. Is there more to come?

Well as others have said far windier yesterday here in Norfolk thus far pressure falling rapidly 974.1

Greater Anglia not running until 10am now and they've had reports of damage to overhead wires in various locations.
