Easy jet plane circling above me I assume waiting to land at southend. Never seen one circle so low this way. Normally Gatwick planes which are much higher.

It seems like it might be calming, although a couple of current forecast sites are saying we have it down here until mid- morning?

Very quiet out thankfully, but the Victorian roofs of St Albans have suffered. A lot of tiles scattered in the roads in my area.

It's much calmer now, was very bad an hour ago. Heathrow had a 69mph gust. Is there more to come?
