My brother has gone to the Isle of Wight for the night, his room has floor to ceiling windows and a terrace 40ft from the sea overlooking freshwater bay. He sent me some photos of the sea earlier, I'm a bit jealous, he has ringside seats!

Yeah, house opposite me has too. I reckon just to get it out of the way while it's quiet!

 

I also can't decide whether to stay up all night, or go to bed early and get up early or what :)

Slowwwww, but am finding whole internet slow to be honest!

I see most se train operators saying no service before 9am.

Still gusts of winds here, but not as bad as this afternoon.

Wonder if I should take bird feeders down.

We are booked out of Stansted tomorrow at around 6 am.  Wondering if we will just get out before the worst hits, or if we are in for a mega wait in the airport (with sprog). Could Torquemada

have though up anything worse?
