Very windy, actually gale force already in Bognor and looks to stay close to Gale 8 right until the big storm arrives.

Sea already looking very stormy on the cam for Bognor.  http://www.bognorregisbeach.co.uk/live

Thankfully it is back in full working order ready for the storm.

I have spent hours today mending and stabilising the gate in our fence and propping up the neighbours one that is likely to take the full force of this storm. Now everything is ready for the worst so i can relax and watch now.

Maybe we should pour a huge container a size of Wales full of beer into the Celtic Sea and the storm would bring the rain of torrential beer. Posted Image

Then the Storm would be called ''The Great Drunken Storm Of 2013'' or ''Hurricane Drunk''.

The UKMO is at risk of having a bad day on Monday if this doesn't come off. To me for southern England it's knife edge whether the bulk of the strong winds end up in or across the channel. And even for precipitation further north for a lot of places currently on watch that might not materialise either.

The way things get beefed up these day I don't think it'll be as bad as people on here think, the amount of times I've been reading these posts and watching the BBC weather forecast and then it ends up not being half as bad as expected, that's when people start losing trust in the experts and what they say.
