Here is a join of 2 photos of the Stanwell Thunderstorm on Sunday morning. What would you think if you saw this heading your way!...The image stitch shows exactly how it looked along the horizon.

Not on home computer are upload pics of Sunday (TSTM) storm at some point

Just had a weakly electrical cell pass to the east, had a good few rumbles of thunder from it which was fun. hoping for more, still loads of sferics around

That storm near Manchester is visible from here, and is almost blocking the sun.

Some heavy downpours across the West Midlands now to the west of Kidderminster/Stourbridge. They are heading my way, they just need to turn electrical.

met office was predicting thunder up till an hour ago, now they are just predicting rain. tho in all honesty lm not a fan of thunder so will be glad if it misses hereford.

looks like its mostly north thats getting hit, only one or two strikes were recorded in south wales tho l did see one strike recorded further east from hereford on Blitzortung but its mostly up north now.

That storm from Wales will likely run across Cheshire and into Manchester. Nothing near here unfortunately.

It just has done!

Huge bolt of lightning and a proper downpour within the last 20 mins, but fizzled out alarmingly quickly.

Still, that's three thunderstorms in October, putting this month in second place behind July.

Some impressive looking cloud just to my South-west and the wind has dropped completely.

Satellite loop shows developments nicely.

Typical another T storm goes past us this time to the north. A heavy rain shower approaching here from SW if it survives the shield.
