My take on Mondays storm:

Of course  I do think it is being over played a bit.. however...

Notice that its 985mb as it approaches..

Then it begins to deepen... 977

Down to 969!!!!!

966 as it leaves!!!!

Rain for us of this storm I don't think will be such a big issue.. however.. the wind will most be felt in our neck of the woods..

Shes going to be riding the jet!

Current wind map from XC Weather has it pushing up The Channel at 29mph until lunchtime, but take a sneaky peak at Monday's forecast - not sure who they use to base that on?

Coast XC weather use that as a guide so what ever is in the box you have to double for the gust.. Their gust forecast is rubbish
