Just had the heaviest rain shower thought i was hearing things massive rain drops plus huge puddle out front didnt expect that just looked out still going

Had that exact same shower give Peterborough a soaking! What a downpour that was. Look at that Dorset storm heading on that exact same path too. Fingers crossed

Nice looking set-up for convective weather at the moment,with those warm 850's and that cold air aloft.

Keeping an eye on those developments near worcester, would love to be on the south coast right now though!

fingers crossed eh i just been out when i looked up saw a huge cotton wool cloud and i could see it rising up crazy

I know. Yeah I was observing the same thing ! Just goes to show how much instability is up there tonight. Looking promising I must say. Ill let you know if I see any lightning on the horizon within the next hour!

Been following the recent convective excitment and it continues! WOW that south coast tornado amazing!  reading the updates and on UKWW on that and convective. Severe weather potential wondering what this going to brew up, most interesting weather and so warm especially the nights for Oct. gave me a great TSTM Sunday am..

Incredible tower going up just east of me! Huge single cell! Could actually see the top of it moving up then flattening out. Gone too dark and misty to see it now! :(

I reckon I've just seen a faint flash high in the anvil that is onto Oxford. Very impressive if it was that storm cell, which I can only assume it is Posted Image
