Looks very much as the all the action is in Kent. Only on the French facing side of the belt of rain is lighting up and doesn't seem to be making any progress north. Shame for us in West Sussex

Lightning getting much closer. House just shook after a recent bolt.

Watching to the east, rather than the south, for all the lightning now. Would say Sittingbourne/Faversham must be under a storm at the moment.

Just too far west here....again. But at least I've been seeing and hearing something!

Some pretty heavy rain on the drive back from Croydon to Kent/London border but no lightning visible.

 

Seems to have been an E.Sussex > Kent affair.
