Thunder and lightning every 30 seconds or so here

Just seen a very impressive flash of lightning to my south. Must be what's over your part of the county.

Driving along clacton seafront just now saw lighting every few mins to my south west over kent

This is currently looking more like a Sussex/East Kent affair to me

Lol, I have noticed the storms tend to bypass SE London since I moved here a few years ago. There are more cells heading up from the south, though, so maybe not a total failure yet.

Plenty of lightning now to my south. But too distant for me to hear much thunder. In fact, only one rumble heard so far.

Been out to peasmarsh on a job,some beautiful blue and purple flashes lighting the sky,awesome and i was getting paid to view it,you cant beat mother natures free firework display
