10.6, a mild start but I am betting on a colder pattern change later in the month.

Just a guess, but a month with a mixture of warm and cool spells. Have a bit of a feeling, however, that the last part of October could provide a more potent cold spell with perhaps a chance of something wintry. Will go for a CET estimation of 10.0*C.
