Two people have called me Shirley tonight. I will forgive you both if you accept this flower on behalf of the Church of Religious Consciousness (and agree not to park in the red zone)AS

No, no, no, no, no, no, no:The red zone is for immediate loading and unloading of passengers only. There is no stopping in the white zone.

No obvious signs of fog here yet, although I doubt it will stay that way for long.

Just went outside to sort the bins out for tomorrow. It's so still outside. There is not even the smallest leaf moving. Just thought I would share that. Goodnight guys I'm off, until tomorrow.

Hi Leigh, this is what I keep trying to encapsulate and you've just done it - small, normal things that we do can stop us in our tracks. Thanks.

Even with a change of unsettled conditions over weekend. All outlooks point to mild if not warm SE/Southerly winds. :-)

Good fun on here tonight. Nearly October so I thought I'd post this beautiful Dylan Thomas poem:

hi as

nice Posted ImagePosted Image

still waiting for the fax charts

the suspense of it all Posted ImagePosted Image

I love the 'weather turned around', all of us who love weather can recognise that, and that he is moving through the physical landscape and moving through the ageing process and thinking about his growing older (only 30 - imagine that, years ago!) and is happy that day, but still hoping that he will be around the same time next year, and still remembering, as a child, holding hands with his mother.  And a 'heron priested shore' makes me see that bird, on the nether land between sea and land.  It's great stuff as far as I'm concerned.

hi as

lovely words

i like going to the park in autumn just to sit there for a while especially

when the trees have gone that orangey autumn colour.

think of all the good things from the past and hope the future will be kind

keep on doing that, for a healthy state of mind Posted ImagePosted Image

nicely said John, the changing seasons have so much more significance to me these days.  Have you read The Old Ways by Robert Macfarlane?  I think you, and all on here, would love it.

Still nice and warm by the looks of it this weekend, though the BBC forecast was very disappointing, just 17C for both days as a max in this region.

Morning all Posted Image

After yesterday's hazy sun (actually towards the end of the day, bright rather than hazy sun, would be a more apt description) we are now back in to the cloud.

To be honest, I'm getting bored with this. Okay, it's mild with no thoughts of heating going on, but with the very little sunshine I'm getting here, I feel a change of weather type is needed. The local BBC weather forecast has just shown mostly cloudy until the weekend. :(

Morning, it's a foggy start to the day (not as dense as yesterday tho) here, little wind and currently a mild 14C. Happy hump day! I'm off to Pontins in Somerset for a 2 day break...hopefully nothing will get broken lol. Selecting my best leisure suit and making sure I have enough change for the electricity meter there (yes, really!) :)

Morning! Posted Image

Visibility down to 100M on most Sussex roads, with some around Mid-Sussex down to as little as 25M. Just go careful out there and take a bit more time to get where you are going and arrive alive :good:

No fog issues here, just broken cloud and some blue sky so might even get some sunshine today

I thought you lived in the triangle?

Fog should slowly clear but it may not be as bright a day as yesterday for some:

The flooding in the Middle East desert city of Dubai earlier in the week followed record-breaking rainfall.
