I am ready for the colder weather now, love summer but I equally love winter! Autumn is my favourite season with Halloween and Guy Fawkes night! Its starting to get colder the nights are drawing in, it especially feels awesome when we have such an amazing summer before it! I can't wait for the below 0c nights to kick in then I will be happy.

Morning all

Grey, misty, mild, humid in Brighton.  Not sure we will see very much sun here today - the forecast is now suggesting cloudy on the coast all day with more chance of sun inland.  Hopefully there'll be some sunshine for some of our region.

It's also grey, misty, mild and humid in Stevenage.  See AS, you could have come to Stevenage and had the same amount of fun. Posted Image

Mind you Chilly, the tide would have to come in a long way for us to be able to see the sea in stevenage!

2 of the 5 have woken up with sore throats and feeling generally unwell so we might not be here that long anyway now.  Ah well, back in a couple of weeks time, perhaps we'll get a proper Autumn storm steaming in off the Channel.

Morning Steve, morning regionaires!

Dull and cloudy here too, but warm enough for late September and fuelled with a bacon sarnie, I'm up and out to take on the World!

Morning folks,

Yep, that cloud layer sitting over us too. Satellite pics show the clearance over much of The Midlands slowly edging this way though. Hope it makes it, as I've got a fair few hours of gardening in front of me today - and would rather be doing that, at this time of year, with a bit of sunshine on my back.

Currently a very humid 16.6°. Feeling somewhat tender OK, hungover, this morning. So what with that, the humidity, and the gardening, I think it's a safe bet I'll be getting through a pint or two of water today.

Pint? Did someone say pint? Bleurgh. Posted ImagePosted Image

Hot and humid - not words you expect to hear in September really but fully intend to make the most of it today !

I'm having a sea bass for brunch. My mate caught it yesterday. I've had to gut and descale the thing, so feel I've earned it. :)

Just gone in the oven, with olive oil, salt and rosemary.

The sun is coming out here as the cloud slowly burns away. Could be a stunning afternoon

Looking at the various models, most, if not all of the upcoming week looks warm to me, although we are likely to have rain after midweek, which might be mostly showery (possibly thundery?) in nature.

just been for a walk on the beach - it is really humid and muggy today.  Still cloudy though.  Picked up lots of litter so am feeling virtuous but it's amazing how people just leave stuff on the beach - really selfish (or, in a desperate attempt to lever a 'beach' joke into this post, shellfish!)

I probably prefer things with a slight bass bias. :winky:

I reckon 2 hours until decent sunshine here.

Afternoon all. A dull cloudy day here in Central London. Albeit on the warm side, with no sign of the sun trying to make an appearance. Of to grab a bit to each, then hitting the road for a few more hours.... Enjoy your Sunday afternoon people ðŸ‘
